Rest weeks, repairs and flowers

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a great month so far I know mine is. For the past week I have been enjoying or well trying to enjoy an easy week with regards to my training, or at least that was the idea anyway. For the past  week and a half I have not slept so well, almost every day I would keep waking up in the small hours, eventually I managed to get a couple of good nights in but still touch and go, I am just keeping my routine up as best as I can.

Last week also gave me a chance to do some much needed servicing on the poor bike, apart from my lovely new disc brakes it had a thorough clean up and is now running very sweet, oh yes, there is the pedals, I had to replace the damn things as I have managed to square off the bearings some how, but all is good now and the bike will make it through to July when I am going to completely rebuild the bike around the replacement frame and fork, should be good.

So far my #gothedist challenge is bang on course and I am 95 out of 150 miles for this month with a full week of riding ahead and a nice long bank holiday too things are looking really good and so am I.
I still need to work on my consistency of my riding but it has been a serious improvement over previous months attempts and I am steadily increasing distances too making it much easier to meet my goals, just need to focus more and get my body weight sessions in on a regular basis.

Going to wrap it up now with a couple of photos I took in the garden today, hope you like them and I will try and take some down time from riding to get some landscapes soon.

So for now happy trails.
