November

Well my October challenge went out with a whimper not a roar but I am far from disheartened about it as I still managed to do 80% of my target and cover 80 miles out of my 100 target....in fact technically I managed my goal as I wanted to cover at least 75 miles by bike and that is what I did manage to do.
Over the last month I have managed to up my ride distance from a mere 6 miles to an average of 14 miles and I covered up to 16, this month was all about getting the confidence to push the distances up so next month will be all about consistency and doing the rides/walks with more frequency, sadly I did not get as much walking in as the weather is now heading into winter and daylight hours are getting thin on the ground so it will make my walks on the moors hard to do apart from at the weekends so instead I am going to do some short tarmac walks to help the balance in my legs, speaking of which I really need to get my post ride TLC sorted and stretch and hydrate better after a ride.

Unfortunately I think that my November challenge is going to be off to a slow start as I currently have a nasty little flu virus that is proving to be a pain to shift, some people I know have had it for a week now and still they are feeling rough so I am not holding up much hope but here it is I have set my challenge.

125miles using bike and hike with at least 100 miles of bike

Well a pretty good challenge and more than manageable if I stick to the aim of this month consistency and for a reward I am putting a little money in the kitty towards my new GPS a Garmin Edge500.

Well unless you living in a cave with no windows you will know that it is the death season for any one who is on a diet or any weight loss program...Christmas, I say this as I just spoke to my brother about what I wanted for my Christmas dinner with the Sussex Muddy@rse club  also I have seen other Fitbloggers talking about how they are going to survive the season, well my solution or survival guide is real simple I am going to enjoy myself I am not going to gorge myself but if I eat I must no I will exercise, I have already made the mental agreement not to look at my scales until new year as with all the work outs I am doing my body will be changing in ways the scales simply cant show....I might take a Now photo of me if I can summon up the courage and take one again in 3-6 months time just to see the progress.

Well that's it for now, more an update and thoughts on the month gone and the month to come I just wish I could sort my emotions out so easily.
Oh I am trying to get some more photo's taken but right now only thing in my hand is a tissue to blow my nose and next blog will have some more of my cross stitch project in, going to be a bumper issue
