Feeling Crafty

Well the first week of October Go the Distance is under way and on Friday I put in a solid incredibly wet 6 miles in on the bike that despite the very wet conditions on the ride went really well, I honestly felt really strong and was just powering along without thinking about riding hard, given how ill I have been recently i was quite surprised and very elated, and a big thanks goes out to all my new friends and followers on Twitter you all rock!

One thing that I seriously need to do next week or real soon is get my hair cut, I am struggling to get my helmet on, I think it is time to go back to my skin head again as it is more comfortable and easier to dry hehe.

Still not got around to taking any photo's and I am feeling kinda ashamed of myself given that I have a couple of places I have wanted to shoot around this time of the year I am not normally a snow scape person but I am wanting the snow to fall. I have the next two days off so I am thinking some sessions with the camera.
One thing that I am picking up again hence the title of this blog is my cross stitch, for ages I have been stuck on a project that is very awkward and a genuine pain in the ass and it has kinda sucked the air out of my enthusiasm but now I have a couple of new patterns from Mr X Stitch nothing hard just a couple of Dr Who inspired designs K9 and the Tardis I cant wait to get started. one thing i have been intending to do for ages was to pick up a box to store all my Sewing stuff in.



This is going to be so much better for storing my stash (a knitting term it seems to fit well here too) than in bags hidden away in my drawer.

Right that's it for now going to get some more reading done probably another post in the next couple of days with some more challenge updates.
